New Holstein 51, Campbellsport 34

CAMPBELLSPORT — Three Huskies finished in double figures and New Holstein’s dominant first half was enough to earn the EWC win.

Tyler Zipperer led the way with 16 points for New Holstein, followed by 15 from Chris Lefeber and 12 from Brett Boettcher.

Kyle Beck had 16 for the Cougars, who trailed 25-9 at halftime.

“We did a great job battling back,” Campbellsport coach Kyle Twohig said. “We cut it to single digits in the fourth quarter, we just couldn’t get over the hump. New Holstein did a good of knocking down free throws to put the game away.”

The Huskies finished 16-for-19 from the charity stripe.
