Lomira 44, Kewaskum 33
KEWASKUM — The Lions got out to an 11-3 lead in the first quarter, then kept the advantage in the 8-to-12 range for most of the nonconference game.
"I thought the girls did a
great job of preparing," said Lomira coach Jake
Flood. "We had a couple good game films of theirs and we really broke it
down."
The Lions, who are ranked No. 2 in the state in this week's Division 3 Associated Press poll, had three players score in double figures: Kalee Luedtke with 13, Emily Neitzel with 12 and Allison Neitzel with 11. Lomira improved to 20-1 on the season.
"I thought the balanced scoring was really nice," Flood said. "Emily Neiztel had 12 points, but also chased Anna Butler around the entire evening and held her to eight, which is four below her average."
Haley Rauch led the Indians (13-8) with 10 points.
