New Holstein 38
WAUPUN – Morgan Domask led all scorers with 17
points as Waupun pulled away in the fourth quarter for Friday’s 47-38 Eastern
Wisconsin girls basketball win over visiting New
Holstein.
“I felt we stepped up our defense in the fourth and forced New Holstein to
take some tough shots,” Waupun coach Doug Disch said.
“This was one of our best defensive efforts in the past several weeks.”
Makayla Hopp added 13 points
for the Warriors (14-8, 8-6 EWC), who host Wautoma Tuesday to open Division 2
regional play.
The Huskies are now 1-19 and 0-14.
